Vegas Pro 23 stops working at 100% render

Hi!

I have been having problems recently where Vegad Pro 23 stops working when the video is at 100% render and I have no idea why

 

The problem details say that the problem is Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005) and then that the fault module is C:\Program Files\VEGAS\Vegas Pro 23.0\FileIO Plug-Ins\mcaacplug\mc_cpu\mc_mux_mp4.dll

 

The weird thing is that this problem does not happen when rendering shorter videos that are under 10 hours. The problem happens with longer videos which I have never had a problem with rendering before.

Can anyone help me out and figure out how to get Vegas working again? I would be so grateful.

One thing to check- do you have 2x the space on your C drive compared to the file size of the final render? VEGAS needs extra space to do the conversion (muxing).

Otherwise consider breaking the render into two chunks and use third-party software to reassemble the video without re-encoding (search for how to do this).

Thank you for responding! Yes I have more than twice amount of space on my C drive so that can’t be the problem.
 

I would like to avoid breaking the render into chunks as I have never had to do that before. Something must have happened for this problem to show up so I would just like to figure out what that is and reverse it.
