Vegas Pro 8 Script Developer's Kit

I'm extremely new to scripts, but I really want to learn. I've saved the Vegas Pro 8 Script Developer's Kit to my computer; however, is this something that must function from within Vegas Pro 8, or does it function as its own application? If it is to work from within Vegas Pro 8, how do I get it uploaded into my Vegas application? If it is a stand alone program, how do I get it started.

Sorry for such elementary questions, but even Sam Walton started with only one store.

It's a standalone document that tells you what API calls are available to you to use in the programs YOU write. It is NOT a program that you run.

Since you have the Script SDK now, unzip it and take a look at the FAQ and API documentation files in there (HTML format). They will answer your elementary questions and then some.
