Vegas Pro 9 won't display mpeg-4 video

I just installed Vegas Pro 9 tonight and tried to preview MPEG-4 video created by the Flip Ultra. It will only play the sound, but will not show the video. I opened the same file in DVD Architech and it plays fine. Quicktime video from another camer plays fine. The Flip Camera video plays in other applications. Any ideas? Is this a bug?

Have no problem here playing an MP4 clip created by Vegas Pro 8.0c.

I think you are running into the same issue I found detailed elsewhere in the forum. Something about the header of the file is screwed up apparently. The simplest solution that I found listed was to purchase quicktime Pro ($30) and use that to simply resave the file again. Here are a couple of links I found the other day that addressed this issue:
http://forum.videohelp.com/topic345804.html <-- lots of good info
http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/882949 <-- good - use Quicktime Pro ($30)

(I was having issues with some of the mp4 Youtube stuff, but not others of the shuttle). If the quicktime player handles it correctly, this should solve the problem.
