Recently, I erased a Vegas Pro project and had to recover the file. It was a big file and took a lot of time to make. It is a 46 minute video. The drive (C:) where Vegas Pro was installed was not affected but I tried re-installing Vegas Pro anyway. The drive with the video clips was not affected. Only the drive with the project.
Vegas Pro starts OK but as soon as I try to open the file it crashes giving the following error message:

The project has some large AVI files in it but it was working OK before. It would take me months to recreate this project so any help would be appreciated.
