Do you have also a question?

Vegas Pro 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 all installed on Windows 11 on this laptop and all are working fine. So you definitely have another issue going on.

I switched to win11 recently and everything is ok. I'm just disappointed with the same performance. Win11 should make better use of 16-core processors with e-cores. I naively thought that this would be reflected in the Vegas performance.

Another Win11 user here and VP20 and 18 are installed and working fine.

@Frank-Posa I would contact Support with your problem and have your serial number added to it.

So, I was sent a link to a Vegas Pro 20 upgrade that fixes the problem, which was due to a recent Windows 11 patch. It now works fine. Thank you everyone for your comments.

You talking about this one? ***Important: there was an unexpected conflict that causes all builds of VEGAS Pro 20 earlier than build 403 to fail at startup. We've already fixed this for VEGAS Pro 20 and you should download and install build 403. ***

It wasn't a Windows 11 patch. It was an issue with a DLL inside VEGAS which was immediately fixed within hours of it happening. Always best to be using the most current version.
