I can tell you that I've installed the Vegas 14 Suite and have no problem running my older DVD Architect from Vegas 10, so in that sense, I'd say they are "compatible".

Seem to recall that whilst DVDA 5.2 will handle Dolby AC3 Pro audio VP14 will not produce Dolby AC3 Pro  unless you swap the appropriate plugin folder from VP13 and rename a file.  Not sure if you can repeat this work around using the plugin folder from VP12.   When VP14 was first released a free VP13 was also included.  Maybe you could download VP13, run it as a trial and copy the plugin folder.

I may be wrong but do a little research before spending your dollars.
