Vegas Pro Hang Loading VST Plugin(s)

I have an excessively large number of VST plugins, so it's often the case that when a program like Vegas Pro loads, it takes a while to scan them, at least the first time.  I  found that Vegas Pro is hanging when loading Reaktor5 FX 2x8.dll, so I moved it out of the way by re-naming it to Reaktor5 FX 2x8.dll.novegas, but then Vegas hangs loading Reaktor5 FX.dll

There is a note about a different naming convention for the 32 bit version (Reaktor5 FX 2x8.dll) versus the 64 bit version (Reaktor5 FX2x8.dll, no space between the X and the 2), but I haven't found any reports about Reaktor5 FX.dll

I can go about and rename the various fail-to-load dlls, if need be, but it sure would be an improvement for many applications if one could populate one's own list of VSTplugin dll's to use so that we wouldn't have to wait so long and suffer the hang-up problems when some incompatibilty shows up.

Has anyone else reported any problems loading the Reaktor5 VSTplugins?

In order to bypass the search of existing VST plug-ins on your machine during the startup process, please try the following:

1. Right-click on the application's launch icon.

2. Select 'Properties'

3. Add the following command outside of the quotes in the Target field: /NOVSTGROVEL

4. Select Apply and then OK

-Be sure to include a space between the last quote and the beginning of the command line argument.

Vegas can still use the VST plug ins it has already scanned, it just does not need to initialize them each time it launches afterward.
