@popfizz

For full support you'll need to purchase the Studio version which also enabled features and codecs that you will want. Support even then is hit and miss depending upon the agent that you get. Otherwise, you can get great support through the web discussion forums. Much like here on the Vegas website. I would definitely start using version 18.5 and not the 18.6 versions.

In addition all NLEs are like tools. Each has its own set of issues and deficiencies. Resolve for instance is very limited on panel movement or arrangement. You may also find that the video and audio codec support is limited. Finally, the options and editing concept are complex for the casual or content creators. While everyone is entitled to their comments, let's quit editorializing and move on to the tool that works best for us

I didn't realize there was no support from Magix unless you use the subscription plan.

Did something change? I used Edit and got support via help tickets. I think there's also chat support. No phone unfortunately.

@popfizz For your information, Magix Vegas has NOT fallen through any cracks, quite the opposite is currently happening and been happening within the offices of the development team, whether you believe or not...However it is perfectly ok for you to share and express your current frustrations with Vegas Pro, no software is perfect, and nothing is wrong running both Davinci Resolve and Vegas on your system to satisfy your editing workflow....
