Vegas Pro stops working when importing media

I purchased Vegas Pro 18 on 4/3/21. I also had Vegas Platinum 17 installed on the same computer. Both versions of the software were working until yesterday 4/26/21. When I went to import media I get the Vegas Pro has stopped working problem report window. Vegas Platinum 17 would not work either. I have uninstalled both versions of Vegas and reinstalled Vegas Pro 18 with no change. I have an intel i7 10700k 3.8Ghz Msi motherboard, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super, 32Gb Ram and a 1T SSD. Running windows 10 Pro. Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you get any Windows updates yesterday?

I have the latest window updates. The last time I rendered a video was on April 4th. I only found out Vegas Stopped working on April 26th.

That's the issue. Recent Windows Updates has broke something:
