Vegas Pro Upgrade Question

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before, but I have a quick question since I keep getting ads for VP16.

So I bought 15 Suite, which came with several other stuff like DVD Architect, and I've been wondering since 16 got released: Because I bought 15 Suite, do I have to go with the 16 Suite upgrade, or could I theoretically just go with the regular 16 upgrade.

And as a followup, if I DID have to go with 16 Suite, what would change in terms of the other perks? I assume that DVD Architect wouldn't change, but was wondering what would?

You can upgrade from VP15 Suite to either VP16 Edit or regular versions.

Yes, DVD Architect would be the same and should still work if you went with the Edit or regular VP16.

The 16 Suite has a different selection of bundled add-ons from the 15 Suite. See this comparison table for what is included with VP16 Suite. To be frank, there is not a lot of consistency or logic in the selection of add-ons that has been bundled with recent Suite versions, and note that no bundled add-on is guaranteed to work in a future or past version of Vegas Pro. Many do not, and when you make your decision you should assume that they won't.

Someone who bought VP15 Suite and VP16 should be able to tell you which of the add-ons bundled with VP15 Suite still work with VP16.
