You've been Rickrolled!

Google: Rickroll

It's a new way to waste peoples time on the internet, as if we needed another reason....

Was that one of those Disney animatronic robots, if so I think it's broken.

Here's the perfect antidote to that crap: Robin Trower, Greatest guitar player who ever lived!

The time you have on your hands is plainly inversely proportionate to your IQ. If indeed your calculator has enough decimal places to calculate it.

I used to work in a discotheque when that song came out. They used to play that song like 5, 6 and 7 times a night.

Then when you walked into the back, the busboys would be blasting Anthrax and Megadeth.

UKAndrewC ,

Be nice. I'll take your comment as though you have a sense of humor and are aware of today's date. ;)

I do have a sense of humour, but it doesn't stretch to having my time wasted by fools who have nothing better to do.

"I do have a sense of humour, but it doesn't stretch to having my time wasted by fools who have nothing better to do."

Yet you found the time to respond not once but twice. Would you speak face-to-face with someone in the same manner? Wait don't answer that, you haven't the time.

"Would you speak face-to-face with someone in the same manner"

If by manner, you mean honestly and sincerely without being misleading or a deceptive, then the answer is 'absolutely'.

So diplomacy and politeness are faults that you strenuously avoid. Still in your teen years?

Can't take a joke I see...

Definitely not, but should I assume that starting a thread intended to waste time, is acceptable?

When I lived in England fro age 5 to 21 we appreciated a good April Fools.

Could it be that age five is the best time to enjoy such nonsense?

I agree w/ UKAndrewC.
When I surf the forums I tend to click on & read the topics that seem pertinent or interesting to me. Often times I start to read a topic only to find out that it's going a different way than I care so I stop reading it, go back and find another topic to follow. No worries... at least it dealt with what it said.

A title like: Vegas Pro V9 - Release Promo... makes it seem worthy of reading when in fact it's BS.

The post had nothing that even remotely dealt with the title.
Although it was meant as a joke it was very misleading and I did not find it humorous either. This is like when people on YouTube put 'SEX' in their title to generate more views. At least there you can Flag and have the video removed.

I like a good joke.
I just didn't find this one humorous.

Now that's more like what I would have said face to face ;-)

Now if you like a good joke, here's one:

A man dies and ends up in hell. He's told he has to spend eternity in one of three rooms.

Each room has a viewing hatch, through the first, he sees people up to their waists in effluent. In the second they are up to their necks in the same stuff.

In the third room, they are all standing up to their knees in effluent, drinking tea, so he opts for this room and goes inside.

As the door shuts behind him, a whistle blows and a loud voice shouts 'OK you lot, tea break's over - back on your heads".

Maybe someone could have at least made a fake promo video, a little bit of creativity would have made the pill easier to swallow.

Bob.

Andrew I'm afraid to say I found Rick Astley's dancing style a lot funnier.
FrigidNDEditing wrote on 4/2/2008, 1:17 AM
well, i thought it was clever, not as clever as when somone did a screenshot of my desktop and then made that the background, but certainly clever, none the less. Funny thing is that someone did that to a friend of mine this year, and he spent nearly 2 hours trying to figure out the problem, so remember, when it seems like everything is there, but you're not able to click... LOOK AT THE CLOCK!!! :P

Never mind, some people can feel that way when they are jealous of someone else's talent.

Absolutely Bob, that would have shown some aptitude and intelligence.

Sorry if UKAndrewC and a few others didn't enjoy the prank - simple as it was - I'm also sorry you had to post so many responses (and a joke of your own) in your own defence/defense - my bad again.

Heck, Youtube made their entire Feature page a RickRoll yesterday - their users must have been steamed. I suppose I could have made the link easier for you but for some reason my version of LinkCreator didn't work. :(

Sincere apologies to any of the regular contributors to this forum who's time I may have wasted.
