Vegas Pro vs Platinum

Hello;

I have used Vegas for years and have an old version. I was looking at getting Vegas Pro Post. When go into Vegas on my computer, it suggests I upgrade to Movie Studio 2025 Platinum (which is about $200 cheaper).

Which of these will I find more familiar? I'm a home user, but had no problems using the over version of vegas / soundforge.

Thank you.

Pro. Movie Studio is a completely different app now, so you won't feel at home with it at all.

I'd consider the Pro Suite as it has the editing software you are used to plus Mocha.

@Jamie-Dolan Hi, as stated above Vegas Movie Studio & Vegas Pro are completely different programs to Magix Movie Studio 2025 Platinum, they're not & have never have been related to Magix Movie Studio 2025 Platinum, it is definitely not an upgrade from any Vegas version.

Magix Movie Studio 2025 Platinum looks quite different because it's a different program, but also it is a very basic editing program that lacks a lot of features that Vegas Pro has that's why it's a lot cheaper, If you want the correct upgrade that will look, feel & perform like your old version get Vegas Pro, (Edit, Post or Suite)
