Does it exist?
is it on site?
is it pdf or web page?

these are the answers my organisation would like to know before even considering my request they consider it over final cut pro

The question was put to PCH, to no avail. Seems strange but i guess they have a marketing dept for all that. But I do not have the time to chase it all around.

There isn't really anything that I know of apart from what is on the website. http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/products/showproduct.asp?PID=808

The best advice I could give you is to get together a list of questions, post them here, wait 5 minutes and they will all be answered (this forum is usually really fast!) :)

Some of the best promotional literature you'll find is the quarterly catalogs. If you've purchased or registered any SONY Media Software then you're probably on their mailing list, unless you've specifically removed yourself. I usually get about 5 of these each quarter and they quickly get snapped up by folks asking me for advice on audio/video editing software.

If you aren't gettting the catalog, you can request it here: http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/registration/catalogrequest.asp

It's also available in PDF format here: http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/registration/full_catalog.pdf

You can also download the demo. Just click the "Download" button on the top of the forum here. Also, unless you plan to buy a whole brand new computer (and i'm assuming it will be a prebuilt one) your decision will be more based on what computer you hve: apple or PC.
