Bump ...
Still cannot connect to the registration server. Even tried very late last night in case it was just too busy during the day.

ForumAdmin if you're looking in - is there an issue please?

Thanks much
Tom

Check your firewall settings that they do not block the registration.

Thanks MRe.
It's worth a check though nothing has changed on this system. V7 has already been registered on it once, but support suggested I remove 7.0a and install 7.0b fresh due to a problem we are chasing.

Now that 7.0b is installed, I can't (re)register it. Got 7 more days however.

Tom

PS. Checked and as far as I can tell, it's not being blocked.

Try the "Register from another computer" option.

Thanks Ed,
That method worked. I am still baffled tho' - I have used the 'normal' method countless times with VV, DVDA, SF and Acid Pro with nary an issue - ever.

turn your av & firewall off (ie exit them). I have a few programs that do not agree with the firewall at all, even when it's not susposed to me blocked.

I recently have brought this to the attention of SONY Madison. I am also seeing this on all my versions of Vegas. I checked this for the other SONY products. I don't get this on Sound Forge, ACID Pro, CineScore or DVDA.
