Vegas Sample Scripts

There is a small file on the download page called Vegas Sample Scripts. What is this for & how would I use it?

Inside the zip file is a few scripts. Unzip them to a folder and you can run them from inside Vegas 4. The names of the scripts pretty well describe what they do.
