Quickie question. Am I alone or do others think it would be a nice additon to have a simple grid system (like in Photoshop) as part of the color curves filter so you can more exactly draw "S" curves and the like?

I think that would be a nice addition, yes. Would be GREAT if we could draw smoother gamma curves, wouldn't it?

FWIW, re: blue/breen screening - neat tip from an article on the dv.com site by J. Jackman if I recall -> if/when poss. backlight the subject using a colored gel, where the color used is the opposite of the background screen color.
