Vegas took my product and is making me pay for it again!

I've recently been trying to get Vegas Pro 22 to work on my computer with the help of their tech support. After I installed the new update I tried to put my license in to activate and use it but it wouldn't work. Instead of helping me support told me my license was "revoked" and would need to purchase one again. They then closed the ticket! I am beyond furious! What kind of product makes you buy it again after an update?! I wasn't even able to use it! Not even once!

Have you purchased Vegas Pro 22? Or an earlier version?

I checked with support, and your initial ticket requested a refund which, according to their records, was granted. Thus the serial number would have been revoked once the refund was given. And our records show you purchased no new license.

I have seen no evidence that the refund was granted and I have not yet received it if that's true. Is there any way you could send a confirmation of that to the email you have for me on file?
