VEGAS TRACK COLORS - A VERY GOOD NEW LOOK

Hello guys at Magix.

I took the liberty of improving the distribution of the colors of the Vegas tracks.

As you all know, Vegas Pro or Movie Studio has only 8 colors for the tracks, named A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. The problem is that these colors come "out of the factory" all misaligned, compared to the HSL color spectrum. Nothing makes sense. It is a true vision of hell.

As a suggestion, I made in my Vegas the following color adjustments of tracks, increasing 45º in each H of the HSL color spectrum. Now the colors are distributed harmoniously, so as to please the eyes of the professional who works with the software.

In my case, I chose the following settings in the HSL color system, S = 50, L = 50, and H in increments, 0, 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270 and 315. Of course, the RGB values in Vegas preferences, otherwise it will not work.

Well, personal preferences are, as the name already says, personal. But I really wish that this track color system would be implemented in all versions of Vegas by default. Both Pro and Studio. I hope you enjoyed.

Hello, DeTomasi, Adi-W and everyone who loves that colors values that make sense.

You need to enter these values manually. Go to the Options / Preferences menu and choose the Display tab. In Track Colors choose Color A, or B ... up to Color H. You will need to enter the values one by one. To do this, click on the color and a small window will appear, just enter the values for Red, Green and Blue, and click OK. Repeat this for the other track colors.

From the table below, you need to choose a row. I have refilled it and put the RGB values. For my Vegas I chose the first line. But the fourth line has the middle values between the very dark and the very clear.

Please forgive me for my bad English. I type in Brazilian Portuguese in Google Translator. Yes, I speak "Googlish" 😂
