Vegas Transcription Takes WAY too long.

I usually use whisper for automatic subtitle generation. I'm trying out the Vegas transcript feature so I can try text based editing.
But this transcription feature takes forever. Whisper can do an hour video in about a minute but Vegas takes about 30-40 minutes.

Is it possible it's not using my GPU or something? Any way to speed this up?

You can upload pictures directly with the up icon on the right side.

Anyway my understanding is that it uses external servers so there's no way to speed it up. I use Faster Whisper myself with CUDA and then bring the srt into VEGAS.
