1. Create regions in the trimmer (hit the "R" key after setting your time selection). Name them, if you like.
2. Hit the "save markers to media file" button, or check the "automatically save media markers" option in Preferences.
3. Your regions will be there when you re-open the file in the trimmer. You can also drag 'n' drop media regions onto the timeline from the Explorer Region View window. Regions and markers for media files placed on the timeline will also be visible as orange and green lines on the media file .

Is it possible to drag all the regions to the timeline at once as different takes of a same event?

Good question.

Try doing it with a right-mouse click and drag and see what happens.

Tried it last night. Works perfectly!

Just right-mouse click and drag from "Regions View," Explorer window to the timeline. Select "Add as Takes."
