Hello,
I have an ATI All-In-Wonder 8500DV graphics card installed in my computer, which does some of my video capturing from my VCR. I recently installed an updated driver set by ATI called CATALYST 2.2. After installing this program Vegas Video locks up my PC every time I try and start it and I have to shut it off to get out of the crash. It is a pretty major crash since I cannot hard boot the computer to get it to restart, it has to be physically shut off. There is some conflict between my graphics card’s new drivers and the Vegas Video program. Has anyone else noticed this problem that has an ATI 8500DV card with the new drivers installed?
I tried completely uninstalling Vegas and reinstalling it with no luck. It still locked up my PC every time I tried starting the program.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Steve
