Vegas Video 3 kick Premire's 6 ass !!!!

I used to be a pretty dedicated Premiere user since version 5.

A week a go, a friend of mine just show me the power of vegas video 3, and i have to admit it, it blows me away!!.

Is so easy to use, so user friendly, so powerful,it have docens of options more than premiere 6 and add to that a beatiful and elegant interfase. Damn good piece of soft. Is quite clear to me that SonicFoundry really listen to it's costumers, and they really undestand the meaning of "inteligent software". I'll buy it whitout a single doubt, and make the change rigth away.

I'm just wondering, does adobe premiere's plugins are compatible whit Vegas Video 3?????

The only downside in vegas that I've noticed is that it's slower to print to tape than Premiere 6.

Not sure what you mean by slower print-to-tape: render time?

Yes, In Premiere this function "Print video to tape" seems to work faster than VVideo3.

This is probably because in Premiere, you render everytime you want to watch a preview (ala Enter key). In VV3 the rendering occurs right before the print to tape or when you pre-render. My guess is that this is what you are seeing. I also used Premiere since 5.1 and also used 6.0, but switched to VV2 during the summer and never looked back. Good piece of software that actually feels like a Windows program. :)
