vegas video at buy.com

With all the talk about how the price of vegas pro had
dropped, I thought I'd check what the current price was at
buy.com while browsing for new goodies (like the new ibm
75gxp 45 gig ide drive- any user comments?).

Lo and behold, there's a listing for "Vegas Video V1.0
Single 1-Doc" listed for a price of $331, a good $35
cheaper than the current price of VegasPro.

I'm sure that people who payed $500-600 for the first
version of Vegas are not going to be happy that they're
being asked to pay $200 for the upgrade, while others are
paying $200 less for the new product than they payed for
the original.

I'm sure most people will agree this is a very poor pricing
policy.

Agreed, the upgrade price seems a bit much. $100 seems fair.

If you're talking about the upgrade from Vegas 1.0 to Vegas Audio
2.0, it IS $99.
The upgrade to the Video version is $199.
Seems fair to me.
