I have put together a little contest site for Vegas users. Well actually, I don't really call it a contest but more of a challenge, mainly because there is nothing to be won.
How it works:
I will post one challenge at a time. Each challenge will consist of a common file/files that everyone will use to create their entry. I will offer these file/files for download on the site. Each challenge will have a specific purpose and point to it, along with certain rules. I will post a deadline for recieving entries (will extend if needed). I will post every entry recieved and after the deadline will put up a web poll so that you all can vote on your favorites. The top five ranked entries will be archived and posted to a separate page along with the Veg file used so that others can learn from the best:)
The first challenge:
I call this one "Sound Off". I have a clip from the movie "The Ring" (downloaded from their website, not pirated:) ) What I did was cut all audio from the clip. The challenge is for you to download the clip and add your own sound. Simple enough. Use whatever you want, effects, music, dialogue, all of the above... You can make it funny, scary, dramatic or whatever, it's your call. The most important thing is to have fun!
