heres the scenario :
video track one :
just a simple jpeg at 640 by 480 of a company logo with a
blue background.. i used the chroma keyer plug in to key
out the blue so im just left with the logo.. then i applied
the wave plug in to that and key framed it in a few
different positions to give it a warbly effect...
video track two:
just a text media clip with no actual text on a white back
ground... theres no text because i just wanted a solid
white background... then i applied the snow plug in to give
it an interesting snowy effect...
so basicly the final clip looks like this :
company logo is warbly for 3 seconds on a white back ground
filled with snow...
now mind you , when i export this clip as ntsc dv (640 by
480 , 29.97 frames per second ), my 3.5 second clip beomes
an hard drive choking 179 MEGABYTES!! my hard drive cant
even play the finished file back , so how am i even going
to export this back out through the firewire port??
please advise.. and dont take the easy way out and
say "well you need to upgrade to a newer version of vegas
video"...i tried that once and it caused video capture to
GPF every time i executed the EXE file.. and i NEED to use
video capture since vegas video doesnt write sony dvgate
friendly avi files...
800 mhz pIII...
128 megs of ram...
40 gig hard drive..
windows 98..
vegas video 2.0 (build 302)
