I have a AMD 700 128M ram matrox g400 video card etc...
IF you have 98SE (can't use 98 plain), try turning off the
Matrox multi-desplay controls during install. There's a bug
in the G400 driver (I have the same card). If your still
stuck, SF tech support will help you out.

I have 98 upgrade and G400 is a single head card. Can you
think of anything else?
