Oh contrare Ramallo, Vegas Video 2.0h is indeed XP compatible. It is listed in the readme file for the update. In fact, I have been using Vegas Video 2.0h
successfully in my DAW. What is especially nice is I can get true 44.1khz/24 bit recording in XP with all of my SF apps(ACID 3.0c, SF5.0d,Vegas Video 2.0h).
The one thing I found I need to do to seamlessly move from SONAR 1.3 to any of my SF apps, is to increase the "Buffer Size" in my Delta 66 control panel for my WDM(5.12.1.25) drivers to 8msec-10msec from my default setting of 2msec to avoid crackling in the audio.
So when I am using DXi/VSTi softsynths/samplers in SONAR I have the Delta "Buffer Size" set to its lowest setting(2msec). I then increase this to 8msec or more to use my WDM drivers in my SF apps @ the same 44.1/24
rate I use in SONAR. A match made in heaven. If only creating that next musical masterpiece would be so easy :)
