Vegas with VSTi's (again)

I just recently got into softsynths (I trigger them from guitar)...my preferred recording program has been Vegas Video for the ease of mixing and editing.
Anyone know of a standalone host program that Vegas would be able to see as an *audio* input? I am not into recording midi, just the audio output of the softsynth. Basically, to Vegas, the host would look like another *audio* input.
Does anything like this exist?

Ahh found it!! It looks like it just may work...now there is the problem of finding a program that can host VSTi's...if I find that, I can use this program to route the audio to Vegas..any more ideas?

The FL Studio demo will do it for free :)

ACID did cross my mind but is not set up at all like a dedicated audio sequencer like Vegas.

Try http://www.dsound1.com/products/rtpexp_en.htm

They have a free version of Real Time Player that will probably work for you.

Try Xlutop Chainer. Or Brainspqwn Forté.
