Vegas won't import Nikon ZR .R3D files | Any Solution?

Besides being an editor, I'm also a colorist and I've been translating DaVinci Resolve techniques to Vegas as much as possible.

Vegas accepts LOG files from various cameras very well, and even RAW files like .Braw (BlackMagic) and .R3D (RED cameras).

So I thought the files from the new Nikon ZR would be compatible, since the extension is .R3D.

Even the Nikon ZR's RAW file comes in .NE and can be changed to .R3D directly in the file extension.

This opens up possibilities for different dynamic ranges in color grading.

However, Vegas isn't opening any .R3D output from the Nikon ZR, neither the standard R3D nor Raw.

Here in the website, they have some raw file from RED and ZR to download and compare

and a got this raw footage from a filmmaker who made avaliable

But ZR files are not being imported, here some times show the low memory error, sometimes the Unknow format.
I think there's some issue with these ZR files, because even RedCine X Pro has difficulty transcoding them.

Currently, only DaVinci Resolve handles these files easily, and Premiere (Beta) has many limitations in terms of correctly revealing the log.

If Vegas can fix this as soon as possible, it will be great to put the software ahead as an option for editors who have this camera.
Will there be updates for Veags at this point? Will it be an update for everyone? Or just for VP23?

*The only way to edit NikonZR footage in Vegas is to get the proxy media in MP4 format.
Nikon ZR can creates an internal media proxy in MP4 format wich retains the RED Log information, so it's an option for editing materials and maintaining color grading.
