Vegas won't let me import jpegs.

Vegas won't let my import jpegs. I just get a warning message that says: "None of the files dropped on Vegas could be opened."

I never had this problem before now.

Can anyone help?

I just created a .png and it worked.

worked fine for me in v7.
try dropping a PDS.. or a TIFF.. or a GIF in
any luck?

EDIT: you're fast... is it maybe a jpg2000? i would think vegas could handle those anyway.. just a thought...

Was the jpeg CMYK rather than RGB?

Sometimes at work we're given CMYK jpegs by the print studio people and have to change the mode to RGB in photoshop.
