Try the new update.

There are two ways to fix this. The first way would be to download a patch that's compatible with the version of Vegas Pro that you're using. Which version do you have if I may ask (e.g., 18, 19, 20)?

Alternatively, you can uninstall and reinstall Vegas. Doing so should automatically install the version of Vegas with the new patch that fixes the opening issue.

To a moderator - I suggest putting the date of the patch release in the actual title of the above stickied threads. I know I don't pay attention to my build number, ever, and I'm sure there's more out there than me. I understand that the thread has a date on it but I still think having it in the title might reduce more of these threads from being created.

** SOLVED ** Installed the emergency update and now Vegas loads.

I am having the exact same issue. I go to open Vegas, the slash screen opens, goes through a bit on initialization, then disappears. There is nothing in the Event Log indicating what might be causing this. I am a paid subscriber also.

How do you guys find just a patch file? I have been gone from work for a bit and now that I am back, just got handed a rush project and neither Vegas 19 or 20 will load up on either of my computers. I guess I am going to have to uninstall and reinstall..
