vegas won't start

i have this report and I'm not sure what to do. I love this program and it worked great for a couple months and now it won't. I hope one of you can help. Thanks.. here's the report

I can only ask to re-install, just in case, and get a new updated anti-virus and anti-spyware and run it on your system. If this doesn't help, file a bug report with Sony via their online email form. I don't think we can do more about this here.

I am having the some problem. Where you using Vista? I am. I am wondering if there is a conflict with a recent Vista Security update or something.

I downloaded the 9.0 and have the same problem as with the 8.0, but 7.0 works fine. Anyone have any ideas?

^Same here. I installed 9.0 and it WILL NOT START! I'm using XP.
