What do you mean by "locate"?

Can you describe your workflow from cards to computer (Project Media folder)?

Based on the little information you've provided, it's hard to tell what the problem is.

Not that I know anything about this version of XDCAM or Vista however Windows does treat firewire ports as network connections and Vista could be adding some form of firewall / security wall that's stopping access to the drive. This is at times the source of some issues under XP, maybe, just maybe under Vista things get more aggressive and the problem could be solved by disabling the firewire network connection.

I don't use Vista and I will assume F330 behaves like the F350.

You are using the latest FAM driver. Notes say it is compatible with Vista.
Camera's i.link is in FAM mode?

Right click on the standalone clip viewer and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Can you see your clips?

EDIT: read this too on page 19

Thanks all for your responses to my XDCAM Vista question I have tried all suggestions including an email to Simon Wyndham (as yet I have had no reply from him ) likewise Phil Myers from Sony who my dealer H Prestons recomended phoning, I am beginning to regret my latest purchase, (Mesh Hush i7) as Vista home premium, seems to be a step backwards and the lack of help from Sony, and Windows Microsoft, leaves a lot to be desired

Hey T J,

I assume that you're set up in FAM mode rather than something else in the cam?

I know you can't access files when you're in AV (or whatever it's called).

Just a shot in the dark?

TJ, have you tried the XDCAM forum at DVinfo Net?

Jay:
Two things that caught my eye, firmware version:
The latest version is AT: 1.70 - Package 1.96

Vista Home showing yellow question mark in devices.

TJ:
You see the camera as a FAM drive?
Are you latest firmware?
