Vegas23 build 356 - Sony a7s3 clips turned green

Komaryt wrote on 12/18/2025, 4:50 PM

After update all my clips from sony a7s3 which were shoot in 50fps are turned green. Only clips which has 100fps are not corrupted. I edit wedding few days ago before update and everything was okey but I needed to end other projects and I didn't open this project for couple days and now when I opened - it happened.

Is there an easy fix for that?

@Komaryt That's unexpected. What is your GPU? The RTX 3060 in your signature? Is preferences/ file io on default settings?

Hi! Thank you for reply. I didn't had time to change my signature.
My GPU is RTX 5070Ti

@Komaryt Thanks for this. I think for VP 23 and 10-bit clips with a RTX 50XX GPU hardware decoding has to be set to none for the media to read. Also uncheck legacy AVC/experimental HEVC. Full support for the 5070 is still in the works (not finished).

with that setup we could all stay with Vp11.

@Komaryt Well my secret here is that I bought a RTX 5070 and have the same problem as you : )

When you're not using 10-bit footage re-enable the hardware decoder for better performance.
