We downloaded the 5.1 update, and it works fine on our Intel machines, but BMD hadn't gotten it working for the AMD procs yet, so they're on 4.85. You can always give it a shot and uninstall/reinstall, not too hard to do.
Sony's engineers may have something different to say about which driverset they do and don't officially support tho...

It'd be nice if the Madison folk were a bit more 'on the ball' with BMD issues. Those of us using it have not only spent large sums of money but are mostly the ones waving the Vegas flag where it counts, in the broadcast sector of the industry.

The Decklink driver we (and Decklink) strongly suggest that you use with Vegas 6.0c is 4.8.1.

Decklink says it's Vegas that's not current with the recent versions of the Decklink drivers, and that the ball is in Sony's court right now.

Bigger question surely is if the recommended 4.8.1 drivers and Vegas are working correctly what's the need to upgrade? I only need to capture and maybe PTT, no insert edits etc.
Last week for the first time I was able to capture DB from Vegas and encode to mpeg-2 without wierd things going wrong such as what looks like field order getting flipped part way into the encode. The only thing I've changed is the upgrade to 6.0c but I see nothing in the bug fixes for 6.0c to indicate any fixes in that area. I'm going to check with another Sydney post house to see if they can verfiy this fix or not.
