Vegas60.exe-Application Error

Hello. I just installed Veg 6C on a new computer and I get the following message when I close the program.

"WindowsFormsParkingWindow: vegas60.exe-Application Error

The instruction at "ox7c9105f8" referenced memory at "0x03050010". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program

Any ideas what this means?

Also, I'm getting unusually slow performance. I open up the task manager and both of the dual core levels go to 100% if I just add 1 effect, such as broadcast colors. My old P3 1GHZ did better than that! haha I'll include the system info below. I was disabling firewall and anti-virus programs, but nothing else. DH

Asus A8N-SLI MB

OK, I disabled a bunch of programs on start up msconfig, and I removed two spyware apps I had. Now I get no more error messages and I was running 6 effects and the performance/CPU usage didn't go above 50 something %, so, the performance issue seems to be good now. This machine had great benchmark scores before I installed 20 or more programs on it. I'll see what else is running in the background that I can disable.

Now I can go learn how to use my A1U that arrived yesterday that I haven't got play with since I've been messing with this stuff.
