vegasaur split screen and davi tools video wall

Hi all

the split screen plugin in Vegasaur does not really make sense to me...it sctually should create 4 new tracks ( in case of a 4x split) and track/motion the entire respective tracks in 4 equal quarters. Instead it just masks a quarter of the track / whole image instead of repositioning the whole track entirely. I usually have 4 track presets ready, upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right, which I apply to 4 newly created tracks. IIMO the Vegasaur preset / script should to that. The border mask is nice tho.

So I remembered this great extension by davi tools called video wall. It lets you choose between several multiples , 2 to up to 16 I think. I used in V15, still have the dll but don't know where to copy it to in V17. Can someone please guide me?

i tried resetting option (using CTRL-SHIFT and starting up). Got it to clear the cache as well but the same thing happens. No extension. Weird

As several others have reported here, I too am unable to get VP(14) to recognize this extension. I downloaded it from the HOS site but, despite some much-appreciated help from Wayne, have had no luck: the extension doesn't show up in Edit, View or Tools, nor is it blocked. (I also tried downloading the .dll from the developer's site but got the same results.)

I've also just installed Vegasaur, which IS recognized by VP. And its .dll appears in exactly the same ProgramData folder as does the davitool .dll. So the problem isn't with VP.

Any new ideas? Thanks, guys!

Yup, no extension here either. Installation as instructed. Vegas 18.

@Phil_P I have it in VP18. Have you looked in View>Extension?

In my haste, when I first installed it, I was looking in Tools>Extensions initially and couldn't find it.

@Reyfox, my humble apologies and thanks. I did exactly as you did (and I almost dismissed your answer as the same as what I already did). It does indeed show up under View>Extensions.

I was perplexed at first, then remembered there is Extension and Extension'S'.
