Vegasaur Update – 3.1

Marco. wrote on 12/14/2016, 1:13 PM

New features and fixes in Vegasaur version 3.1:

  • Jarle's Handheld Camera: Real camera shake effects that were used by the editors of DEADPOOL movie
  • All tools that change the position of events (eg. Close Gaps, Randomize Events, Sort Events Chronologically, Quick Properties > Placement etc.) comply with Ignore Event Grouping option in Vegas Options menu. If it is unchecked, Vegasaur moves ALL the grouped events. Otherwise, it moves only the selected video/audio events ignoring any "external" events grouped with them.
  • Quick Properties: Length and Extend to Cursor options were superseded with a new Extend Event option. It offers several flexible ways to trim and change the length of events.
  • Proxy Media Builder: Background rendering for native Vegas proxies and new features
  • Select Events: Added new option to process events within regions
  • Render Assistant: Period of silence setting lets you disable audio notifications for certain time intervals (eg. at night). By default it is turned on, so adjust it as you need.
  • Apply/Remove FX: New options to insert effects to the begining of the fx chain and before Pan/Crop
  • Sweeper: Added support for .scc & .sfvx files
  • Vegasaur menu reorganization: Added 2 new submenus (Audio and Media)
  • Other minor changes and bug fixes

Thanks Marco (& Altarvic of course). Some useful new features there.

I thought we might see the 3 scripts in this comment added to Vegasaur. I wonder why they weren't (unless I've missed them). Obviously it doesn't really matter if you know about their existence!
