For the life of me I can't figure out why I have no preview or auto preview in the preview window while I am browsing in Media Manager, Explorer, or from the Project Media window? Anybody having the same problem. To see the media in the preview window I have to put it on the timeline?

This has been raised dozens of times - read the release notes - there's an icon in the top right of the Trimmer that needs clicking off - I'll let you find which one, then you'll know.

One of the Features SONY has presented for ease, is the NEW Trimmer Preview option. The chances are you have this NEW Preview in Trimmer feature engaged. So, not a "problem" at all. If it is not this then I don't know.

Might I kindly request that instead of just saying "VegasPro8.0c", which we kinda all think that that is why you are here, but rather something along the lines of the preview Issue you included here?

Big thanks to everybody that replied to this thread. I had the problem on 2 different machines. I never use the trimmer? That was becoming a thorn in my side to not have a preview. Thank you!
