You have to install it on a version it can see. Once the files are extracted, they can be copied to Vegas 7 and will work.

Sorry, still at a loss.

Any chance of someone offering step-by-step instruction? I have Vegas 6 installed as well - will that read it?

Am having the same problem establishing Boris Ltd as a plug-in. I can open the program on its own, but not as part of Vegas, like what you see in the tutorials.

Any help would be appreciated. I've been going around in circles for several hours trying to figure this stuff out.

I don't know about quake but Sony have said that Grafitti Ltd is only a standalone.

I wasn't impressed as got the distinct impression that it was a plugin.

I have now bought Heroglyph which is a good titling plugin, but I consider it was an unnecessary expense as it should have worked as described.

Vegas Quake resides quite nicely on my V7d.

Extract the file to: C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas 7\Script Menu

You should see a folder in the Script Menu entitled "Vegas Quake."

You can either go to "Tools-Scripting-Vegas Quake" and execute the script, or go to "Options-Customize Toolbar" and add the Vegas Quake icon to your toolbar (which I have done, it's an italic caps Q in a shaded blue square.

Either way, select a timeline track and region, then run the script or click the icon. A GUI will give you the various options, click OK and off you go.

Hope this helps,

Darryl

Thanks DGrob!

I'm not too familiar with scripting, so your advice was great. The program works like a charm.
