Velocity evenlope

I am using velocity envelopes on animated graphic .mov clips from After affects. When I speed up or slow down the clip greater than 100 or less than 0, my rendered AVI file suddenly shows blank at that position. Has anyone else had this issue. I am on Vegas6.0b.

What if you render the .MOV to .AVI first and then apply the velocity envelope to the new .AVI file?

haven't tried that but just don't understand why Vegas doesn't do it right?

Your'e right... it should not make any difference... however... I have had odd issues with QuicktimeMOV files in projects (black frames)... I traced the problem to the version of Quiktime. I was using 6.1... upgrading to 6.5 fixed it.
