Ver 4.0e

I'm having majot problem editing M-peg2TS (.m2t) files. They crash the system often. Other users, using version 4.0d seem the edit them fine (granted they are a bit slow)

Our systems are very similiar,
Could "e" be causing the problem?

For all I know-what the sony did to v4.0e is just change a logo.No other changes.

Your issue is not VEGAS 4.0e, it's .m2t.

Since that is a new and fairly obscure file format, most people will not have any experience with it. Have you called Sony support yet?

This is footage from one the JVC HDV camcorders? I would suggest either finding someone who has worked with that footage before and see what their workflow is. Or call Sony support.
Have you checked out the forums on www.dvinfo.net? There are a group of HDV folks over there.

Have a look around here. I posted news about a new 3rd party plugin specifically written for editing GR-HD1 footage in VV.
Seem to recall it hits the streets in mid January. Also adds PTT capability.

What generated you .m2t files ?

Were these shot with a JVC HDV camera or what?
