I am trying to burn a BD movie to a Verbatim disk, but the program keeps asking for a writable disk in the drive. Memorex disks work fine. Why the difference?
Thanks for the replies from you guys. After reviewing your suggestions and doing further research, I have learned the disks I have are imbedded with a copy-protection chip. The intent is to disallow copying copy-protected movies. Since DVDA thinks this disk is copy protected, it tells me it is not a recordable disk. That is why other programs, such as Vegas Pro, write to the disks just fine. Who would ever think such a thing when purchasing the disks. Thanks again. I will use the disks for other purposes.
