You can find the same sort of thing, and a large variety of them, at that, at Harbor Freight, if you happen to live near one. They last remarkably well on flights, as they are quite sturdy. And, when they get too battered up, or a hole punched in one (yes, it happened), you can throw it away and buy another for under $30, including tax.

I checked it out...The one I saw had that block of foam you can pluck-out cubes from, to make any shape opening.

Looks great for carrying external FW drives.

Lowes is also closing-out rolling laptop workboxes... they have a flipdown front-panel and room to carry periphs; removable wheels. Fifty bucks.
