VF2 crash at startup on XP pro

Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble running VF2 on XP pro. Mine crashes while the application is initializing (about the time it registers plugins) - I haven't been able to get it to work yet. I have tried uninstalling / re-installing various times to no avail.

Any ideas?

On a happier note, video capture 2.5 works great!

Sounds like a 3rd party plug-in is causing the crash.

Please update to VF2.0c (if you haven't). If you still crash during startup after installing VF 2.0c, you might try DXman from analogx.com- this lets you temporarily disable audio plug-ins and isolate problems manually.

Excellent. Thanks for the suggestion. I was able to locate the offending file and punish it. Now I can use VF! ;-)
