Vid Factory 2.0 Effects in Overlay?

I see that they have numerous effects in 2.0.. such as Artbeats explosions- all of these effects are on a black background. But what if I want to "edit" out that black so that on the Video overlay the black shows up as transparent, allowing me to use it over other video. Does anyone know how I could do this? =/

Right-click the event, select properties, then click on Media Properties. For the Alpha channel drop-down list, select "Premultiplied". The background should then turn into a "checkerboard" on the overlay track, indicating that it is transparent.

Not all the included videos work (at least on my version). The ones encoded using the Cinepak codec won't work. If you have the Sony version of VF 2.0, you could also use chroma keying to key-out the black part of these videos.
