1) When I run the 'Capture Video' option from VegasVideo 3, Vidcap opens up with just 'Video Capture' in the title bar. But if I run the vidcap executable from windows by double-clicking it, it opens up with 'Video Capture Xpress' in the title bar. Is there any functional difference between the two scenarios?
2) I formatted and reinstalled my box. After reinstalling, I found that after a batch capture (DV scene detection), it no longer showed me the separate files I had captures in the dialog that pops up right after capture. It used to show me thumbnails, and gave the option for Rename and Rename All. Is there some setting I forgot to set after reinstall?
3) I recently watched a tutorial video on FinalCut Pro. It seems to have a feature that allows you to log the shots you want from multiple DV tapes BEFORE you capture.. You set all the in's and out's of the shots you want to capture in succession, and then you choose to do what they call a 'batch capture'.. but in FCP this involves capturing all the in and out points you designated in succession.. and it even prompts you for tape changes after it completes capture of all shots designated on a given tape. Does Vidcap 3 have a feature like this that I don't know about? If so, I HIGHLY suggest that something similar be added.. as this is the only feature of FCP that seems more advantageous than VV3.
