A small question, when going from software to software with video, should you leave the video uncompressed so it wont loose quality? despite constant rendering? Or will qualiy be lost regardless?

I don't believe there is a quality loss when going uncompressed, but its defiantly not the method. Stick with avi, it has a whole lot more benefits and the quality loss is minimal. It would take hundreds upon hundreds of renders and re-renders to notice any degradation with the human eye.

AVI can use pretty much any codec... You should say "stick with AVI using the DV codec".
