video advice

I've been using Vegas for ediing pro audio for years and doing some home video. Now I'd like to do some pro video work as well. If I go from broadcast quality Beta using a BNC to RCA adapter...into my Sony 8mm digital camera...and from there into Vegas, do some editing, render back out to the 8mm camera and then dub that back to the Beta, will I have a broadcast quality product that could be delivered to TV stations? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Steve

well you would be better if you used the component output on the beta sp - or at least the s-video ... in to vegas . and the same back out ... even if converted to DV

you CAN do it the way you mention , but buying a transcoder box maybe more useful to you ..

broadcast quality can mean a lot of things --

It is feasible to do it that way but, if you have an extra $1600, the SD-Connect from Convergent Design is the only way to go for your application.
