Video and Text in separate resolution

Let's say I want the text to be in 1080p while the video is in 4k or 720p text with 1080p video, could this be done?

As Cornico says, the text is generated at the project settings in effect at the time.

My knee-jerk response is that I would generate the text in a higher resolution project rather than as you descibe.

You can set the text up as a different resolution. When you use the Titles and Text Media generator, there is a frame size input box on the top of the screen. I changed it to 720 x 480 in a 1080 project and it appeared to be a lower resolution. I am not sure why you would want to do this though.

You could do all of your text in a separate nested project and make it any resolution you want.
